“Issuance of certificate of authority; denial under the Prepaid Limited Health Service Organization Act of Florida”
Prepaid limited health service organizations and discount medical plan organizations may receive a certificate of authority only after meeting various legal requirements including having procedures for offering limited health services and offering and terminating contracts to enrollees that will not unfairly discriminate on the basis of age, sex, race, handicap, health or economic status.
