“Itemized patient statement under the regulation of professions and occupations law”
An osteopathic physician must provide, upon request, an itemized bill of services rendered to a patient, the patient’s insurer, or the Medicare or Medicaid programs. An osteopathic physician may not condition the furnishing of an itemized bill upon prior payment of the bill.
