“Confidentiality of information under the social welfare law”
The Department of Children and Family Services must maintain the confidentiality of information about disabled adults who receive community-based services. The information may not be disclosed in a manner that will identify a disabled adult, unless the disabled adult or his legal guardian provides written consent.
