“Inspections and audits; violations; penalties; fines; enforcement under the public health law”
The Agency for Health Care Administration may inspect and audit records of health care providers or facilities. Any health care provider or facilities that refuse to file a report or files a false report may be sanctioned and face administrative fines. The agency must report a health insurer that does not comply with legal reporting requirements to the Office of Insurance Regulation of the Financial Services Commission.
