“Action by agency against licensee; grounds under the public health law”
Nursing homes are prohibited from:
- Intentionally or negligently harming the health or safety of residents;
- Financially exploiting a resident;
- Failing to follow legal requirements concerning the transportation, voluntary admission, and involuntary examination of a nursing home resident; or
- Fraudulently altering, defacing, or falsifying any medical or nursing home records.
