“Abortion referral or counseling agencies; penalties under the public health law”
An abortion referral or counseling agency may not charge or accept any fee, kickback, or compensation with a health care provider for referring a person for an abortion. Any person who violates this statute is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree.
