“Screening for metabolic disorders, other hereditary and congenital disorders, and environmental risk factors under the public health law”
All newborns must be screened for metabolic, hereditary, and congenital disorders. The Office of Vital Statistics must establish a confidential registry to maintain information on newborn screening results.
