“Patient test management under the Agency for Health Care Administration regulations”
(5) Laboratory test results must be sent promptly to the authorized person that initially requested the test. A laboratory must ensure that the testing process ensures patient confidentiality and that test results are reported in an accurate, reliable and confidential manner.
