Establishment of Performance Criteria and Evaluation Measures Under the CHIP Program
The Office of the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) must establish performance criteria and evaluation measures that monitor the CHIP’s performance. The Office is further required to adopt a formula that calculates, based on the child’s family income, the premiums that the parent/guardian might have to pay for an enrolled child.
