Discretionary disclosure of confidential information
Specifies the circumstances in which the holder of mental health records has discretion to disclose confidential information. Includes when disclosure will enable an individual to apply for benefits, for evaluation and accreditation purposes, and disclosure to law enforcement when the subject matter of a record makes a serious threat against a reasonably identifiable person.
