Health insurance plans offering health coverage to small employers must make reasonable disclosures regarding the plan’s ability to change premium rates, information about renewability of coverage, information about preexisting condition exclusions, and any benefits and premiums available to the small employer. Such disclosures must be reasonably understandable and apprise the small business of their rights and obligations under the insurance plan.
