The Board of Medical Licensure and Discipline, the Medical Society of Delaware, committees of health maintenance organizations, hospital and osteopathic medical society committees, professional standards review organizations and other peer review committees or organizations that review medical records, medical care and physicians’ work to ensure quality and utilization of health care are immune from civil or criminal liability.
The records and proceedings of committees and organizations are confidential and may not be disclosed to the public or legal proceedings.
