Protection of Medical Records – Licensee’s obligations – Verification of Compliance – Noncompliance Grounds for Discipline – Rules
Licensed Colorado physicians and physician assistants must establish “a written plan to ensure the security of patient medical records.” The plan must account for items such as medical record storage and disposal and patient access to their medical records.
