Requires Opioid Medication Assisted Treatment (OMAT) programs to participate in the Department Central Registry of opioid individuals as a means of preventing individuals from enrolling in multiple clinics. Requires OMATs to submit a program applicant’s information to the registry prior to enrollment and refuse enrollment if the registry shows they are currently enrolled in a different clinic. Permits clinics to call other clinics if the registry is down or the Department of Human Services is closed. Requires OMATs to report admissions and discharges to the clinic within three business days of the admission or discharge.
