Continuous quality improvement program
Requires pharmacies to establish a continuous quality improvement program. Specifies the information that the program must document (near misses, incidents, unsafe conditions) and how they must use the information (e.g., develop systems to prevent or minimize incidents). Classifies the quality improvement program records as confidential, peer review records and exempts them from subpoena or discovery. Clarifies that this section does not prevent patients from accessing their prescription records or subpoenaing pharmacy records that are not related to the quality improvement program.
