Hospitals, physicians, and the director of health must ensure the confidentiality of individuals whose information they report to or maintain on the “drug abuse reporting system.” Law enforcement officials must keep such information confidential only as required by other laws. Hospitals, physicians, and the director of health may disclose confidential information upon court order.
