Each skilled home health agency must establish a quality improvement program that includes: an internal monitoring process that tracks performance measures; an annual review of the program’s goals and objectives; a review of the grievance/complaint process; a review of all patient deaths; a review of all medical errors; a review of actions taken to address identified issues; and a process to monitor patient satisfaction.
