e.) Crimes
When a substance abuse patient commits or threatens to commit a crime on program premises or against personnel, the Part 2 restrictions do not apply to communications from program personnel to law enforcement officers that are directly related to such an incident or threat.63 The information disclosed must be limited to the circumstances of the incident, and may include the individual’s patient status, name and address, and last known whereabouts.64
