The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) created an interactive tool for mobile health application (app) developers. The tool was created so that developers could self-teach rules and regulations regarding the creation of applications, especially those that are privacy related. After answering "yes" or "no" to a variety of questions, the tool lists which regulatory frameworks will or will not apply to the mobile health application in question. Users will also find a glossary section filled with links to related federal laws. To access the interactive tool, click here.
