Bruce Siegel named one of the Top 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare

Health Information & the Law standing committee member Bruce Siegel, MD, MSPH, the President and CEO for America's Essential Hospitals in Washington, DC was just named one of the Top 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare by Modern Healthcare. This is his fifth year on the list, and he shares that space with individuals including President Obama, US Supreme Court Justice John Roberts and Dr. Karen DeSalvo, among others. We are thankful to be able to work with Dr. Siegel and are thrilled to see this recognition from Modern Healthcare. In mid-September, we will be posting the audio and transcript to our personal interview with Bruce Siegel where he discusses the challenges faced by public hospitals in terms of health information exchange and also sheds some light on ways in which the sharing of information may be improved.
